Sadly, around the world, thousands of landmines remain. Remnants from past, or even recent conflict. The people most affected are usually the communities that live there. TDI services such countries/ areas to help the local community live without fear of their backyards; helps commercial developers work in safety; and generally helps to clear minefields for the betterment of man and animals.
TDI has built a successful footprint in North and Central Africa, and the Middle East over the last decade. We have completed over 80 projects in war affected and hostile countries.
We believe that everyone has the right to live in safety. Landmines and explosive remnants of war can pose a permanent threat to local people years after a conflict has ended. Since land, and large areas of territory, can no longer be used to grow crops or build roads and homes, landmines can be an obstacle to economic growth.
